So I still have a bad case of the crafting bug. I thought that it would sort of die out once I had Oakley and the nesting instinct left...nope. Pinterest doesn't help either. :0)
So I made me this skirt. Absolutely love it! I especially love that it was easy and only cost about 6 bucks. Whoohoo for coupons! There are so many things that I want to create and make. I guess that is one plus to a potential move within the next few months. I would have a new space to decorate.
I have found so many skirt ideas and want to make them ALL! So if anyone wants me to sew them a skirt...just let me know. haha

Family Pictures
We are fortunate to have a cousin, Leslie, in the area that does photography. Here is her photo blog. She is quite talented with your camera. Here is just a little taste of what is to come. So happy how they turned out.!

My Husband, the Pastry Chef
Daniel surprised me one night by making a super delicious Australian/New Zealand dessert. Here is his pavolova. It reminds me of meringue cookies with cream and strawberries on the top. It was sooooo yummy! Maybe I can get him to make it for a family gathering one of these times.

2 Months!
Last week Oakley went in for his 2 month check-up. He is still a happy healthy boy!
He weighs 13 lbs 13 oz (91%) is 24.25 inches long (90%) and has a head circ. of 40 cm (49%).
We are just amazed at how fast he is growing.
He smiles a lot and likes to tell us stories. He likes when Daddy comes home to play with him.
(Daniel tried to convince me that we needed to pack Oakley into our 72 hour backpack. )
