We have been enjoying some absolutely beautiful weather the past couple of days. Can I say I love 50 degree weather? Such a nice change from the freezing wind. I actually went to class without a jacket today.
Sunday we discovered a little walking park and decided to explore. Turns out that the path is like 20 feet. Over the bridge is trees and over the other direction are train train tracks. We enjoyed getting out anyway. I LOVE THE SUN

The Spelling Game!
This is a game that I made to help students learn spelling patterns and words better. I am so excited about how this game turned out. This is The Spelling Game. The children have to spell words in order to move that number of spaces. It can be used with any words.
Next week I will be using it in an actual lesson with real students. I just love how it turned out and hope the students enjoy it.

Baby's First Pictures

Well here is our little one. These were taken on January 4th. It was so amazing to see him (or her) moving around and kicking up a storm. I amjust in aw that he is inside of me. We went to the doctor last week and the heart beat is still going strong. The doctor had troubles pinpointing it though because the baby kept moving around.

Haunted Orchestra
Yes this is a halloween post...It's been a little crazy around here.
Daniel took me on a date to see the Haunted Orchestra in SLC. We left school as soon as I finished with preschool and headed south. We love Indian food and just had to make a stop at the Himalayan Kitchen. That is by far our favorite place to eat. So delicious!
While walking to Abravenal Hall, we noticed a lot of people dressed up with children. We found out that they were headed to the concert as well. Everyone there was dressed up in Halloween costumes! I didn't even know that they encouraged that. There were some pretty great costumes. One family was sushi and one little girl was silly bands.
The concert was fabulous! They started out with Mars from Holst's Planets. I was bouncing up in down in my seat because I was just so excited. Daniel just chuckled at me. The performance was great. they had an actor there that would do a bit of a monologue in between the songs. He actually wrote the script to go with the music. Oh my, I just had a lot of fun. Thanks Daniel for taking me!
